Hello, my name is Brandi. I am new to the photography world, but it is something that I have always wanted to learn. Thankfully, my husband is both a fantastic photographer and teacher. I hope to be able to create work similar to his level of expertise in the future. I am very excited to finally learn the ins and outs of photography.

In regards to Proper Exposure, I have been supporting my husband by providing feedback for the website, providing creative suggestions, and editing the pages prior to them being published. I enjoy providing him with website-related guidance and making edits for the website.

My background is in Safety. I have a bachelors degree in Occupational Safety and Health, with a minor in loss control. I am also in the process of earning my CSP (Certified Safety Professional), which will make me board certified in Safety. I have always been passionate about safety, and finally chose to start my safety career in 2020. My first position was as a hazardous waste coordinator, where I ensured hazardous waste was handled, stored, and shipped per local and state regulations. After one year of being in this role, I moved into the position of being a safety specialist, where I ensure all employees have a safe place to work.

I am excited to be part of Proper Exposure, and am looking forward to growing my photography skills. The camera I use is the Sony A7-III, and my husband has been teaching me the strong foundational skills and knowledge that is needed to become a good photographer. By learning and improving in photography, I am wanting to provide additional support for my husband by helping him both shoot and edit photos for Proper Exposure.
